10 Chinese teas were awarded the title of "Top 10 Best Chinese Teas" during the 1915 World's Fair in Panama.

1. biluochun

Chinese name: 碧螺春(bi luo chun)

Tea variety: Green tea

Planting region: Dong Ting Mountain, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, Southeast China.

Biluochun has been a traditional Chinese tea for more than 1,000 years. SuperGrade Biluochun tea leaves are green and covered with a white layer of hair. Planting region: Jun Mountain, Dong Ting Lake, Hunan Province, Central South China.

As one of the top 10 most popular Chinese teas, Silver Needles of the Gentleman Mountain is strong in bud head and even in length and size as far as tea leaves are concerned. The inside of the tea leaf has a golden colour, while the outer layer is completely covered with fine hairs that look like silver needles.

5 Huangshan Maofeng

Chinese name: 黄山毛峰(huang shan mao feng).

Type: green tea

Planting region: Huangshan , Anhui Province, East China.

Maofeng literally means the leaves with fine hairs and a sharp edge. Growing region: Qimen county, Huangshan city, Anhui province.

The black tea of firm, thin and straight shape and dark light colour is considered as Gong Fu tea. 8 Duyun Maojian

Chinese name: du Yun Mao Jian

Tea variety: Green tea

Growing region: Duyun City, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, Southwest China

It is one of the three famous teas in Duyun city. The shape of the tea is firm and finely curled. The leaf surface is jade green and the dark side is even and light. Its fragrance can be smelled from afar. The taste is fresh and full-bodied.
